Make Time to Exercise

"I don't have time to exercise" is something that I hear from a number of people pretty frequently. But to be honest, we are ALL busy, so it's all about evaluating our situation and figuring out a plan.

Here are my top recommendations for how to make the time to exercise; even a small workout is better than no workout.

1. Workout at home. Working out at home is a great way to fit your workout in if you are short on time. It saves travel time and if you have children, are able to do it inbetween taking care of the family.

2. Make it a priority. When you say I don't have time, that is because it's not something at the top of your list. So make it a priority, fit in 5 minutes here, 5 minutes there. Wake up 10 minutes earlier to squeeze a quick workout in, or take a few minutes on your lunch break, or even while you are watching tv!

3. Split it up during the day. This can make it much easier to get our workout in because instead of dedicating a huge chunk of time, we can break it up into smaller increments.

One thing that helps us making time to exercise is feeling the benefits and reaping the rewards of our hard work. Benefits include increased energy, increased mental focus, boosts mood, lowers inflammation, and so much more!
