As a Personal Trainer, my main passion is guiding people towards a healthier lifestyle. Everyone's body is unique; each with its own strengths and limitations. My method is to build a custom plan based on your shape, size, and fitness goals. My aim is not only to transform your body, but to influence you in making more mindful decisions when it comes to your health.
A little bit more about me. Hi! I’m Melissa, the owner and Certified Personal Trainer of MK Personal Training, specializing in Functional Fitness, Strength and Conditioning, with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications.
I believe that overall health includes taking care of our bodies - physically, nutritionally, emotionally, and spiritually.
I have always been passionate about my health and keeping my body moving. I played collegiate soccer. I am a runner and marathon completer. I love to be active; some may say that I don’t sit still for more than a minute. Along with being active, I love food. I believe in living a balanced life. Why deprive yourself if you don’t have to? Why dread a work out if you don’t have to? Love what you do and do what you love, and let me guide you to that.
ADDITIONAL MELISSA RANDOMNESS:
I’m married, with one crazy fur baby. My husband and I have a passion for coffee, dancing and traveling. We love to volunteer and believe in being kind.
I love to be outside, daily. I prefer the weather to be over 72 degrees at all times, and I love food. I’m addicted to running, finding humor in everything, and TV shows that end happy.
